About This Novel
When I was 14 years old, I came to work as an elevator maintenance worker in a community in Beijing. I encountered an accident during my first maintenance and was involved in a bizarre murder case. I was later released inexplicably. My maintenance master asked me to take the elevator in the building where dead people lived every day.
