This is the fifth book of Gui Ma Xing that I have read. Compared to the first four books, it feels a bit inferior. There are too many scenes describing Jian Dongping and Jiang Xuan, which feel redundant. Is it to contrast the tangled and sadistic and complex emotions of the murderer in the finale? The large emotional drama makes people think it is a love novel. In short, I am still used to the vague, implicit, and to-the-point emotional interweaving of the previous books. I'm going to read House of Ladies, and I'm going to read all the books by Ghostbusters anyway!
