Just after 2024, on January 10, 2025, my birthday, the most coincidental and dramatic thing happened so far-I was fired. When the resignation notice came to me, I just wanted to resign in a few days, that is, I wanted to resign after January 15th - in order to get more social security - and then I was going to go back to Chengdu and try to settle down. The result is as mentioned at the beginning, which is really an unexpected surprise for me. The time I set for myself to return to Chengdu was after the New Year, so before I returned to Chengdu, I still had about a month to spare. I couldn't stay idle, so I found myself a part-time job as the front desk of a B&B. This short story is about my front desk career for about a month before I returned to Chengdu after losing my job.
