About This Novel
At the end of 2016, "Seeing Words as Faces" was quietly born. There is no splendid stage and gorgeous lights. One person, one table and one letter in the Beijing Red Brick Art Museum are her minimalist temperament; there are no overly complicated film clips and sound effects. Under the quiet lights, someone is quietly reading letters, reading about the feelings of family and country, reading about tired feelings, reading about historical choices, and reading about still water running deep. Eight powerful stars including Zhang Guoli, Zhang Hanyu, Lin Gengxin, Wang Yaoqing, Gui Yalei, He Bing, Jiang Qinqin, and Xu Tao participated in the show. The audience called it "the only surprise in 2016" and "a breath of fresh air in the variety show industry." From the vast ocean of letters, 76 letters were selected that best represent Chinese stories and express Chinese emotions.

I have watched this program once or twice. It is a very good program, especially the content of some letters.

The words are like faces, which is probably the most touching variety show I have ever watched. Through the emotional voice, it feels like you are immersed in the scene, and the introductions are all related to Chinese history. We also invited several professors to add background by telling stories, making it educational and informative. I feel that my level is much higher than that of a speaker.
