Little Doudou's Diary of Growing Up
by Gentle Words
About This Novel
This is a front-line teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. He took over a new first-grade class on September 1, 2013. From the first day of school, to the first week, to a month, and to the end of the second grade, he saw, heard, thought, and felt during the two years. This book records every detail of a six- or seven-year-old child who has just entered first grade. The protagonists of this book are me and my children and older friends. I am an experienced teacher, but when I faced 62 chirping little kids, my mind was still confused. But I knew that I wanted to accompany these children until they graduated from elementary school. We stayed together for a full six years. Although the daily workload was heavy, I dragged my tired body home every day and then worked hard to record the beauty of the "now" in words. If not for anything else, I just want to leave the past for my children and myself, and use words to record the children's "growth" and my "monologue and hope" as a teacher.
