About This Novel

The name "Byzantium" originally referred to the ancient city of Byzantium on the Bosporus. The city was founded in the commercial colonial era of ancient Greece. In the 4th century, Emperor Constantine (reigned 324-337) expanded the eastern capital of the Roman Empire on the site of the ancient city and revived the empire's glory.
