Was this written by the same person? The preface does not match the postscript
It was explained earlier that the heroine overheard the conversation between the madam and Prime Minister Wang Ke and knew that Dongfang Mei was their daughter. How come she didn't remember it later, and when she saw the madam having a tryst, she thought that Dongfang Mei was not the Duke's flesh and blood?
Poor writing, incoherent, inconsistent, and inconsistent content
