In the distant future, human footprints are all over the stars and the sea. As a highly intelligent race in the universe, humans have colonized many planets of less intelligent races. Lu is a businessman in the Interstellar Alliance, and the Alliance arranged for him to engage in commercial activities on Planet Parma. He came to a mining planet far away from the earth and famous for its cheap labor, and happened to encounter resistance and unrest from the workers on the Parma planet. He and other important officials were transferred by the authorities to a small town called "Ban" on Pama Star, and happened to stay in the house where Ban once lived. He met the cat left by Ban, and the Pama children who did not comply with the government's relocation policy and were hiding in Ban Town. Through work intelligence, he learned that after the unrest was suppressed, the Interstellar Alliance would take measures to control the population of Parma Planet to facilitate the management of the earth. In order to save the Pama children he knew, he got involved in a larger social movement...
