Tiantai Mountain (tiān tāi shān) is located in the north of Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province, China. It has been a famous mountain since ancient times and is favored by practitioners. By sorting out the poems related to Tiantai Mountain in "The Complete Poems of the Tang Dynasty", the author found that there are more than 400 poems by more than 150 poets involving this mountain. The authors of the poems have either been there personally, such as Meng Haoran, Li Bai, Yuan Zhen, etc., Or they have been famous for their poems, such as Li Qiao, Zhang Shuo, Du Fu and others. This book explores the reasons why literati in the Tang Dynasty loved Tiantai Mountain, and sorts out Tang poems involving humanistic and natural images of Tiantai Mountain.
