This book is a collection of mourning poems from past dynasties in China. The author carefully selected 300 mourning poems from the vast ancient Chinese poems for analysis. Through the author's detailed analysis, we have a further understanding of these ancient poems. In addition, this book further expands the scope of "mourning" poetry. Since Pan Yue, a writer in the Western Jin Dynasty, first wrote three mourning poems under the name "Mourning", later generations used "Mourning" as a proper name to express their condolences for their deceased wives.
