About This Novel
Liu Yuxi (772-842), courtesy name Mengde, was born in Luoyang and was a famous poet in the mid-Tang Dynasty. At first, he was as famous as Liu Zongyuan and was called "Liu Liu". In his later years, he sang in harmony with Bai Juyi and was called "Liu Bai". Liu Yuxi actively participated in the Yongzhen Revolution in his early years, and was later relegated to a barbaric land. However, his character was also relatively stubborn.
