My Sister-in-law Showered Me with Gifts at My Housewarming Party
by Lin Buque
About This Novel
I was hosting a housewarming party, and my sister-in-law brought a cake to celebrate her son's birthday. Not only did they not give me any red envelopes, but they also asked my husband's seventh and eighth aunts for birthday blessing money. After eating and drinking, she walked away with a few newly prepared dishes from the kitchen, leaving my husband and I awkwardly paying the bill. Afterwards, she took advantage of everything, but she liked me in the group. "Cheng Wei, are you immoral or not? Give your nephew five hundred for his birthday. The cake I had that day was more than five hundred!" I was so angry that I replied in the group: "The two two hundred and fifty add up to exactly five hundred, which is worthy of you and my brother!"
