The Style of Female Volunteers
About This Novel
In the early 1950s, the outstanding sons and daughters of the Chinese nation formed the Chinese People's Volunteers. Holding high the righteous banner of "Resisting U. S. Aggression, Aiding Korea, and Defending the Home and the Country," they fought bloody battles on the Korean battlefield, fought with the Korean people against the "United Nations Army" led by the United States, and finally won victory. At that time, there were a large number of female volunteer soldiers in their teens. They abandoned their writing and joined the army and went to the Korean battlefield. In North Korea, they served as radio communication personnel, radar soldiers, intelligence agents, war reporters, battlefield ambulance personnel, and field art soldiers. They contributed their blood and youth to New China and the Korean people. This album collects information on more than 200 female volunteer soldiers. The main part includes the military resumes of 108 female soldiers, more than 350 photos taken on the battlefield, and more than 70 articles (more than 100,000 words in total) recalling the war years. The other part contains the photos, names, place of origin, unit and time of entry into the DPRK of 96 Shanghai volunteer female soldiers. The memoirs included in this album are all self-reported by female soldiers. No matter what kind of work they undertake, the female soldiers carry the lofty ideals of "resisting U. S. Aggression, aiding Korea, defending their families and the country" and the noble spirit of internationalism, and unswervingly complete the tasks assigned by the party and the motherland without regrets or regrets. They are proud to have been a volunteer soldier, and even more proud to be a female volunteer soldier. The text in this album is real and touching, expressing the beautiful memories of the female volunteer soldiers' youthful years. It is also very precious historical information about the War to Resist U. S. Aggression and Aid Korea. These precious photos remind the world that a peaceful environment is hard-won at all times.
