About This Novel
"Guangzhou Biography" uses rich and detailed historical materials and popular and lively language to narrate the ups and downs of the city of Guangzhou from the Neolithic Age to 1949, from a "foreign place" to a major foreign trade town, and then regained prosperity after being destroyed several times. The whole book is divided into dynasties, and four clues are interspersed with writing. One is the changes in urban form, such as how the city of Guangzhou came into being from scratch, and how its cities, buildings, and streets were built.
