Selected Speeches of Patriotic Democrats During the Anti-japanese War in Chongqing
About This Novel
This book is a volume in the "Bayu Library", a special funding support project for publishing in Chongqing. It contains 82 speeches by 47 patriotic democrats. The speeches are collected from the outbreak of the "Marco Bridge" Incident in 1937 to May 1946. This book is organized into five major chapters: wartime propaganda and mobilization, wartime politics and military, wartime economic construction, wartime culture and education, and wartime social construction. Each chapter is arranged in chronological order. The content covers many fields such as politics, economy, national defense, diplomacy, culture, education, and social life. Through speeches, it conveys China's confidence that "the Anti-Japanese War will win", establishes the awareness of major power diplomacy, promotes the development of democratic movements in Kuomintang-controlled areas, and provides suggestions for various aspects of construction during and after the war.
