About This Novel

This book examines and sorts out the basic situation of the Chinese literary creation of ethnic minorities in the Yuan and Ming dynasties, and understands the current distribution status of existing poetry collections, laying a solid documentary foundation for an in-depth investigation of the poetry creation of ethnic minority writers in the Yuan and Ming dynasties. This book is divided into two parts. The first part is "A Narrative of Chinese Poems and Prose of Ethnic Minorities in the Yuan Dynasty", which records 153 ethnic minority writers according to four ethnic categories: Mongolian, Semu people, Khitan and Jurchen. The second part is "A Narrative of Poetry and Prose of Chinese Ethnic Minorities in the Ming Dynasty", which records the works of 73 ethnic minority writers who are engaged in Chinese literary creation according to eight ethnic classifications: Hui, Mongolian, Zhuang, Tujia, Naxi, Yi, Bai and Miao.
