About the author Lin Mang (1949-) whose original name is Zhang Jianzhong. Went to primary school and middle school in Beijing. In 1969, he went to Baiyangdian, Hebei to join the poetry team. In the same year, he started writing poetry. He became one of the representative poets of the "Baiyangdian Poetry Community". He returned to Beijing in 1975 and taught in middle schools and universities. In 1992, he worked in the Literary Department of the Chinese Literature Foundation of the Chinese Writers Association. In 1998, he worked in the Poetry Journal. He is the author of seven collections of poems, including "Lin Mang's Poems", "I Flow Through This Land", "Eternal Moments", "Selected Poems of Lin Mang", and "Collection of Lin Mang's Poems". There are also a collection of poems and essays "The Light Penetrating the Years", a collection of essays "Time Becomes the Past in an Instant", "Collection of Lin Mang's Poems and Paintings", etc.
