About This Novel
"Three Hundred Tang Poems" is a widely circulated anthology of Tang poems. It was compiled by Sun Zhu (a retired scholar from Hengtang) and his wife Xu Lanying in the Qing Dynasty. It was written around the 28th year of Qianlong's reign (AD 1763). "Three Hundred Tang Poems" has a wide range of themes, bold writing, and various atmospheres. It profoundly reflects the political contradictions, frontier military affairs, palace women's grievances, social interactions, official ups and downs, and secluded life in the Tang Dynasty.
