This book was selected from a vast collection of Tang and Song poems by Yu Pingbo, a master of Chinese studies. The selection of words is slightly broader, and he strives to reflect the stylistic characteristics of the poet and the development path of his words. This book contains 251 poems from the Tang Dynasty to the Southern Song Dynasty, divided into three volumes. The first volume contains poems from the Tang and Five Dynasties, and is divided into three parts: 1. Tang Dynasty, 2. "Huajian", and 3. Southern Tang Dynasty; a total of eighty-seven poems. The middle and second volumes are composed of Song poems, totaling 164 poems. The middle volume is titled "Song Ci I", and the second volume is titled "Song Ci II", which is equivalent to the Northern Song Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty.
