About This Novel
Yu Tongyou, male, was born in southern Anhui in 1971 and works for Wanchizhou Daily. The seventh student of the Advanced Seminar for Young and Middle-aged Writers of Lu Xun Institute of Literature, and a contracted writer in Anhui Province. A number of short and medium-sized novels are scattered in some domestic literary journals. Unexpectedly, just over a year later, I came to Wazhuang again. The agricultural shuttle bus from the county seat made a lot of noise along the way, and finally brought me to the town at dark. A few sparse shops in the town were half-lit with half-dead lights. Two children ran out from across the street, shouting in a dialect that foreigners could not understand. They quickly passed through the dim lights of the street, got into the house, and then swooped out again, much like the bats flying above the town at this moment.
