The story took place during the turbulent French Revolution. French doctor Manette was imprisoned in the Bastille for reporting the evil deeds of the nobles, and was never heard from again. His wife was struck down by pain, and his orphan daughter Lucy was taken to London to be raised. Eighteen years later, Dr. Manette was released. Sidney Carton leads the plot to the climax. This noble man, this respected man, this man who went astray because of love, will definitely be respected and mourned by future generations. This is a great man. Jarvis Lowry, a character throughout the text. He is a conscientious, honest, and kind person. Without him, there would be no plot development, no climax, and no Lucy family. He is a noble man. One revolution, two cities, one people. Any revolution will inevitably involve bloodshed and sacrifices, and mistakes will inevitably occur. The consequences of revolution in this world will not only apply to one country, but will be experienced by the whole world, because human nature is the same.

poor translation

The first half of the book was confusing to read, the translation was obviously lacking, and some content was deleted. The whole article seems a bit far-fetched, and the connection between chapters is not smooth.
