About This Novel

"I" have not been valued by my grandmother who favored boys over girls since I was a child. Due to her long-term contempt, I developed a rebellious and perverse personality. I deliberately opposed my grandmother at every turn and challenged her authority. After growing up, "I", who became a reporter, began to re-examine my grandma's life from the perspective of my own life situation. The novel uses the conflict of ideas and personalities between the old and young generations of women to describe the fate of the characters and family encounters, forging the "rough" life into a gentle texture, and revealing the author's unique understanding of the changes of the times and the flow of life: I must grow in her roots, and she must reappear in my body... Living, which was originally the fastest thing, has become the slowest because of this.
