About This Novel

The movie "Blade Runner" adapted from this book has become a classic in the history of science fiction movies, and the acclaimed sequel "Blade Runner 2049" was also released in China on October 27. After the nuclear war, radioactive fallout drove the animals on the earth to the brink of extinction, and the earth was no longer suitable for human habitation. In order to encourage the remaining population to immigrate, the government promised that as long as everyone immigrated to an alien planet, each person would be automatically equipped with a bionic person to help them live. The androids were not satisfied with the status quo of being enslaved by humans and tried every means to escape back to Earth. The protagonist Rick Deckard is a bounty hunter who specializes in hunting down escaped androids. During a hunt, Rick encountered unprecedented challenges from new androids. After nine deaths, can I live a life? In the contact and competition with androids, Rick found that his views and attitudes towards androids had changed greatly. Is this change a blessing or a curse?

Blade Runner extracted part of the plot. The adaptation and the original work are both very good. At the end of the film, there is a poem in the rain written by the actors, which moved me very much.

I have always thought that Philip's science fiction ideas are great. The ideas from that era are still being played now, and they may not be played better than him_(:з∠)_I didn't expect that I could see it in qq reading. It's really a surprise w

This is a false proposition

Can God create a hammer that He cannot lift? Can humans create androids that they can't even tell apart? To be honest, I don't think bionic people will be exactly the same as humans. The reason in the book, that I can create others even if I don't create them, is not valid. What is the role of androids? Whether it is to replace humans, or to replace humans to do things they don't want to do or can't do, it should be the latter. Neither the earth government nor the immigration government will allow any company to create bionic people that are the same as humans, because this is meaningless, except that it will disrupt social stability. The simplest method is that each android must be marked when it leaves the factory, either on the forehead or behind the ears. In this way, the reason in the book that I don't make others but also makes others cannot be established. It is meaningless except to increase the cost, and can humans really marry androids that are indistinguishable from themselves? No sense of crisis at all? Do you think I can't see any other use for such an android besides being a sex slave?

What a classic

I just read the old version of Blade Runner half a year ago, and it's not as exciting as the book.

I dare not say that the novel is wonderful throughout, but it is definitely a must-read classic of cyberpunk. Friends who like it must not miss it!
