Dream of Red Mansions, there is a lot of culture in it, it is really a Chinese treasure! You will always experience a different charm every time you read it. It is the first of the four great classics! I sympathize with Daiyu's experience. A generation of talented women has become a tragedy in feudal society, and of course Baoyu, Baochai and so on. In the end, Qingqing's life was lost. Sad yet beautiful!
A high school teacher recommended that we read it in college, saying that Dream of Red Mansions is my country's greatest realist novel. However, all the women in Dream of Red Mansions are dead, and it is a tragic novel.
There are many characters in the book, whether they are noble scholars or country women, they are all lifelike and ready to appear.
It looks good, but it's hard for me as a primary school student to understand. It takes a long time to see a little bit. Alas, this is the only one short of the four major classics. The teacher said that the four major classics must be taken in the exam for junior high school students. Hey, no matter how difficult it is to understand, you still have to read it.
Thumbs up
The prosperity is gone, leaving a vast expanse of white space, so clean! The cycle of cause and effect, everything has a certain number ~ I didn't understand it before and thought it was about wealth and honor. But now it seems that this is simply life. It is the first of true masterpieces, and it is both true and false~
After high school, I realized that Cao Xueqin was a boy...
Which character in Dream of Red Mansions is your favorite? ?
The lotus turns into a water chestnut, the nobleness is gone, but the fragrance remains - Xiang Ling
Xiangling's original name is Zhen Yinglian. She was originally a noble lotus, but she became a popular Lian. Her life really corresponded to her name "True Ying Lian". But even if she fell from the clouds into the mud, she still exuded a fragrance. The turning of the wheel of fate caused her situation to fall again and again, but in the process of continuous decline, she still adhered to her own heart and still exuded her own fragrance. After Xiangling was beaten and scolded by a kidnapper, her hopes were dashed, and she was kidnapped by Xue Pan to be a concubine, she still did not give up reading or poetry. She wanted to learn poetry, but she still didn't give up after being rejected by Xue Baochai; she wanted to learn poetry, and still persisted after being criticized for her first poem; she wanted to learn poetry, and still wanted to learn poetry after being teased for her second poem. Huangtian paid off, and Xiangling's persistence finally bore fruit. Her third work impressed many talented women in the Grand View Garden. The fragrance of water chestnut, no matter how many hardships it went through, finally came out! Fate was unfair, turning Lian into a water chestnut, and turning Ying Lian, who should have been loved by all, into a sweet water chestnut that was called around. But whether it is lotus or water chestnut, they all exude their own fragrance.
It's still messy if you keep cutting and sorting it out
As a junior high school graduate and about to be a freshman in high school, I still don't understand some of it. I can't understand classical Chinese. I feel ashamed. But I don't know how to understand this classic.
Why do I need to pay for the Dream of Red Mansions e-book?
Cao Xueqin, the author of Dream of Red Mansions, died more than 50 years ago. Logically speaking, there is no need to pay copyright fees. If it is a book, I think it is appropriate to pay because it is an entity after all. What about e-books? Why pay? Has the money earned from Cao Xueqin's works been distributed to the author? I remember that there was a website called Journey to the West that paid for it and made it into the news. I want to know what's going on with this book.

To be honest, I have never come into contact with this. No matter what version it is, I have never read it. I only know that Lin Daiyu and Jia Baoyu are in it, and I don't know anything else. Is this considered a great tragedy in life?

After reading the physical book, I always regretted that Sister Lin's ending was too tragic, so he read a lot of Qing Dynasty stories. Like The Girl in the Red Mansion, everything has a good ending, but the result is always regrettable.
