Fifteen Lectures on Chinese History (second Edition)
by Zhang Qizhi
About This Novel
This book uses plain language to tell the twists and turns of China's historical development from the creation of the world by Pangu to the present, focusing on ancient history. The contents of the fifteen lectures include: the origin of civilization, the change of dynasties, the perspective of the Han, Tang and Qing Dynasties, ancient transportation, foreign civilization, ethnic relations, the ancient political and legal official selection system, agricultural handicraft industry and commerce, military thought and system, social life, ideological evolution, literature and art history, science and technology, modern history, and the history of the Republic. Since the first edition of this book was published in 2003, it has been widely praised and welcomed, and 14 editions have been printed. After discussing with the editor and author, I asked them to revise the whole book, revise some outdated views and examples, and add new results of current historical research, hoping to make it easier for readers to read.
