About This Novel
For as long as Julia can remember, her father has been absent from important stages of her life. As she grew up, her longing for her father's love turned into resentment against her father, and the relationship between father and daughter dropped to a freezing point. The two rarely met or talked, and their opinions had almost no overlap. Just three days before the wedding, Julia, who was busy preparing for the wedding, received a call from her father's secretary. As she expected, her father would not come to the wedding. But this time, Julia had to admit that her father's excuse for absence was justifiable. He passed away. Julia buried her father on the day of the wedding. However, the day after the funeral, her father returned in a different way. Julia received a large wooden box, which contained a wax figure exactly like her father. There was a remote control and user manual in her coat pocket. When she pressed the button, her father immediately came back to life.

This book is quite interesting to read (⊙o⊙), isn't it? 😍😍😍
It's very beautiful, and the ending is quite unexpected. In fact, I had my doubts during the period, but I wasn't sure until the end. Also, I think this is not so much a love story as it is a story about family affection. Finally, I think my father is a wise and very capable man.
Mark Levy's books are all very good.
His books are quite good, and I like The Man Who Steals Shadows the most.
Mark, Li Wei's writing is quite good.
Memory is a strange artist. He will repaint the colors of life and erase the imperfect parts, leaving only the most beautiful outlines and the most moving curves.
The story is beautiful, but I feel very sorry for Adam. He is the victim of this story, the most innocent, sad and helpless one...
