"Daisy Life" is a novella written by Japanese writer Banana Yoshimoto. The book tells the story of a pair of unrelated sisters who support each other. The protagonist Daisy was born without a father. Her mother died in a car accident when she was young. From then on, she could only rely on others. The reason why she can continue to live is because she has her best friend Daria. Later, Daria immigrated away from Japan with her mother, and the two girls, both named after flowers, protected each other when they were young. When they grew up and were far apart, they still felt each other and supported each other on the long road of life.
