About This Novel

Li Yunsheng (1905-1932), formerly known as Li Dianlong, was born in Guangrao, Shandong. Joined the Communist Party of China in 1924. In the winter of 1926, he served as secretary of the Qiaokou Special Economic Zone Committee of the Communist Party of China. In 1927, he was appointed Secretary of the Wuchang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. In February 1931, he was appointed as the Organization Minister of the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and in November he was appointed as the Secretary of the Nanjing Special Committee of the Communist Party of China. He was arrested in Nanjing in April 1932 and died in Yuhuatai in June.
