About This Novel
"Chun Qiu Zuo Shi Zhuan" mainly explains the "Spring and Autumn" with historical facts. It started from the first year of Lu Yin (722 BC) and ended in the 14th year of Lu Daogong (454 BC). It is 27 years longer than "Spring and Autumn". It mainly records events and also contains remarks. It comprehensively reflects the social and historical situation at that time. It is not only an important Confucian classic, but also the first complete chronological history book in China. It also has high achievements in literature.

This book has both literary and historical value.
The most exciting part of this book is the war. What is commendable is that the war in this book does not focus on the fighting on the battlefield, but on the causes and effects of the war. It has a bit of materialism. Personally, I think that non-professionals only need to understand the historical events when reading this book. There is no need to be too detailed. It doesn't matter if you don't understand it. I have personally seen veteran scholars who have studied this book for 40 years lament that there are still a lot of questions in this book that are unclear.
