About This Novel
"World Literature Today" is an international academic journal with contemporary world literature as its main research field, co-sponsored by the Institute of Comparative Literature and World Literature of the School of Liberal Arts of Beijing Normal University and the World Literature Today journal of the University of Oklahoma in the United States. Bilingual in Chinese and English, published twice a year. The articles and creations in "World Literature Today" emphasize globalization and world perspective, aiming to promote cross-regional, cross-language, cross-media, and cross-disciplinary literary research, taking into account theoretical criticism and case analysis, paying attention to the connection between Chinese literature and world literature, and reflecting on the value and significance of Chinese literature in the world pattern. This volume is "Today's World Literature (Volume 8)", which mainly includes essays such as Irony of the Soul: The Reception History of Novalis's Poetry, Letting Words Speak: Sauk Translation as Collective Transformation, Seeking Globalization through Locality: Reflections on the Teaching of World Literature, etc.
