About This Novel
This book is the final result of the 2015-2016 Zhejiang Provincial University Humanities and Social Sciences Major Research Project. It mainly studies the classic "post-9/11" novels in British and American literature in the 21st century. It adopts the method of combining text close reading and historical criticism, focusing on the "post-9/11" The three core elements in literature: the representation of trauma, rational criticism and poetic ethical redemption, in order to show the unique ethical value and aesthetic significance of the aesthetic mechanism of "post-911" literature, a special literary category that combines "eulogy", "critique" and "redemption" into one.
