About This Novel

"Nalan Ci" is a record of the life emotions of Nalan Xingde, a famous poet in the Qing Dynasty. It was originally named "Side Hat", later named "Drinking Water", and is now collectively known as "Nalan Ci", with about 349 poems in existence. "If life is only like the first time we met", "Hard work is the most pity for the moon in the sky", "Mountains are a journey, water is a journey" and other phrases are popular among people. His poems have a sense of sadness and permanence, which is a legacy of the Southern Tang Dynasty. His poems mourning the death of poets were rated by Wang Guowei as "only one person since the Northern Song Dynasty".
