About This Novel

Our journey is the stars and the sea! An Asian science fiction classic that has influenced countless writers, exclusively released online! About 1,600 years ago, there were two major forces in the universe at that time, namely the "Galactic Empire", which was an autocratic system dominated by emperors and nobles, and the "Free Planet Alliance", a democratic country that flaunted republicanism. The Fraser Dominion, a country with which the two companies do business, also plays an important role. These three restrained each other but maintained a delicate balance of power, until the emergence of the ever-victorious strategic genius Reinhardt changed everything. Leading a fleet of 20,000 ships on the journey, he met his lifelong enemy, Yang Wen-li of the Allied Forces, and the two began their first fierce battle of wits. The current translation version was authorized by Mr. Yoshiki Tanaka to copyright the original Japanese version of "Legend of the Galaxy Heroes" and invited domestic translators to re-translate it. The current version is different from the earlier popular version by Taiwanese translators. It is more in line with the syntactic habits of current mainland readers. Under the guidance of Mr. Yoshiki Tanaka himself, some errors in the meaning of words in the earlier translated version have been corrected. Taking into account the efficiency of the translation team, this book chooses to be presented to readers in stages in a serialized manner.

I would like to ask if anyone knows better. How do I remember that this novel was finished several years ago?

The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Dawn - Book Review

Don't be like this, the prologue and the record of the decline of the earth are the essence of TVT (I think the latter is better written.). However, after so many years, a considerable number of readers do feel that for a popular novel, the prologue is boring. It is recommended to start reading "Eternal Night". After reading the rest, if you become interested in the book, come back and add the prologue. Newcomers can choose whether to skip it temporarily.

There is actually an electronic version. I bought a complete set of the paper version of the cartoon back then, but it is really the Romance of the Three Kingdoms in animation. The huge structure and the number of characters are amazing. The male protagonist portrayed in the book was probably once the idol of many girls. He looked cool and strategic, but deep down he was always lonely. Maybe this is also a reflection of many people in today's big cities. I always remember the lyrics at the end of the film. . Do u know u have a clue that why I was born to live on such a windy day.

Memories of my girlhood

I read it on the Internet when I was fourteen, and it was a very strange thing. Girls my age at that time all liked romance novels, so I was the one who went to find this article. I don't know why I particularly like Yang Wen-li (according to my teenage mentality at the time, I should have preferred Reinhardt, who was beautiful, powerful and status-y). I always feel that Yang Wenli has a sense of freedom and calmness about him. In the ancient Chinese saying, "Taishan collapses in front of him and remains calm". He will not be easily constrained by things like money and status that have bound many people throughout the ages, and he is also very firm in his beliefs. Later, many of the characters in novels that I liked also had these qualities to a greater or lesser extent. When I finished reading this book, I was very unsatisfied. I also thought that if Yang Wenli and Reinhardt lived in peaceful times, they might have become friends, or if they were in the same camp, they would have swept across the galaxy. Haha... But the ending of this book was doomed decades ago. I can only wish Yang Wenli, Reinhardt, and all the famous and unknown people in that world to find their own path, and have no regrets even if they fall like a meteor.

Black tea and wine, hero? Hero? Laughing in vain

When I was in high school, I was a librarian. Because I had no friends, I went to the library almost every day. Later, I bought two sets of Yinying in the library. I was interested and casually browsed through them. I was immediately attracted and couldn't stop reading them twice. Only then did I understand what a modern epic masterpiece is. Now that I am in college, I am really moved by this book when I read it here. Make a cup of black tea, add a little brandy, and savor the favorite taste of the great slovenly tactician in the slightly scalding heat. It is slightly astringent and slightly sour, but it is covered by the bitterness and aroma of black tea. It is very easy to drink with warmth, just like his whole life. Perhaps in the eyes of others, Yang Wen-li's life is brandy, rising like a supernova, helping the army escape from death again and again from that real genius, and the final curtain call is like a meteor that catches people off guard. This bottle of brandy is indeed extremely strong, showing the true nature of a man. But in the eyes of those who know him well, Yang's life is more like the wine with black tea that the somewhat clumsy teenager made for him to persuade him to quit drinking than pure brandy. It's not as strong as brandy, it doesn't have the fragrance of black tea, it's so mild, so bland, but it's so... Fascinating that you can't bear to put it down. Two heroes born in the same era, they are both undoubted military geniuses. Geniuses have reached the point of "how to be brilliant when you are good"; they are completely different in the true sense, from their status to their thinking logic, from their living habits to their conduct in life. Their curtain call was so unexpected. The plain, gentle admiral was assassinated on the battlefield, but the cold, arrogant and wild prince died of a cold that had even eradicated cancer but never disappeared from the world until the end. This may have been the end of the other party, which is disappointing. When Reinhard died, I had no desire to cry. I even wanted to put down the book and applaud. This is a lion, and his tears are an insult to him for sacrificing all his blood and blood on the battlefield and in the palace. All we need to do is applaud and pay the highest respect to this hero for his legendary life. But Yang was different. When Yang told him that he was about to die in a tone as plain as if he usually asked his adopted son to make tea for him, and when he slowly moved forward in the dark corridor of the ship to go to the medical room to bandage the wound that was impossible to heal, I couldn't stop crying at all. To us, he is not a hero, but more like a gentle brother next door, and we are more reluctant to let go of him... At the end of the novel, the cosmic Three Kingdoms romance did not end in the chess game between the two heroes. The hero has left, the legend has ended, but history has just begun. Drink up the slightly cool tea wine in the cup and make another cup of the same. This cup is dedicated to our lovely admiral, because that stubborn prince probably won't like the taste.

Reading Guide

1. For newcomers, please start reading from Chapter 7. The previous prologue is just a background. If you feel it is too boring, you can skip it and it will not have much impact. But I suggest you read it after reading it. 2. Two male protagonists, not gay. The heroine appears relatively late, but both protagonists have their wives and children. 3. Bento warning! There will be a lot of character deaths, so be prepared. 4. The technology tree is crooked in the combat settings, with probability shooting and queuing up to kill. During the battle, the formation was larger than the sky, and the flanks and back were basically destroyed. The battle was relatively flat, mostly based on famous ancient battles. 5. The work has two versions of animation: the old version and the old version. The old version is on Youku and has been filmed. The new version is in Half Dimension and only the first book has been filmed. 6. The novel was finished thirty years ago. This is a new translation and the physical book is available in most libraries. 7. There is no Gundam, no fool, no boss, just a serious fight. 8. The author is Japanese and an old man from the Showa era. Please don't miss a good book because of this Please add some advice, the underage newcomers are trembling??
