About This Novel
When I look back on the past, I realize that I have lived like Watanabe in "Norwegian Wood". I used to laugh at the absurd plots in novels and stories, but now that I am in my twenties, I am obsessed with the absurd past. Should I also write a book, more than 200,000 words long, with the words "She never liked me" at the end? Should I escape from this city like Watanabe and let old friends pass through the forest of time like the wind, leaving echoes in the air... This book may be my story, or her story - but now I think it is just an ordinary stream of consciousness novel, full of ridiculous and illogical words.
