The Complete Works of Wang Xiaobo (Volume 1) - Book Review

I remember when I first entered the university campus, the professor said in a casual conversation, "Boys must read Wang Xiaobo, and girls must read Zhou Guoping." From then on, I picked up Mr. Xiaobo's book and got out of hand! Finally, I would like to say that reading Xiaobo's words may not have made me knowledgeable, but it has enriched my spirit. As time went by, I found that I was influenced invisibly - of course, but this does not mean that I should be like Xiaobo, imitating him and admiring him infinitely. In that case, Xiaobo's text would be in vain. He advocates freedom and pursues freedom. He often quotes Russell's words, "It must be understood that diversity is the source of happiness." --But to identify with him and draw nourishment from his words to enrich oneself.

I have watched it many times and never get tired of watching it, because it is interesting and reasonable, and because it is profound, because it is like a friend sitting opposite you on the train chatting with you. He does not ask you to agree with him. He just expresses his unique point of view and expresses his worries. You may not agree with him or believe him, but when he makes you think, you have to believe it, because he is not lying. His views are still relevant and inspiring today. The most important point is that you will realize that life is actually very short. From birth to old age and death, it is actually not long, because many times we live unconsciously or inertia. In Xiaobo's words, we live "within our own limits". This way, it is natural and comfortable, and time passes easily. However, have we ever recognized another kind of life? How many of us have experienced an interesting, intellectual and sexual life, and how many of us can say when they are dying: Tell them that I lived a happy life. As for the rest, I want readers to find out for themselves. What I describe is just a small pine tree on many wonderful mountain peaks.

Wang Xiaobo is a liberal, just like Andy in Shawshank Redemption. "Some birds are not destined to be locked in a cage, because every feather of theirs shines with the brilliance of freedom." I read this book very happily for the first time, but I couldn't laugh at all when I read it again. I like that maverick pig, but I also find that I have a lot of "kind military representative" qualities in me. Fortunately, I am full of curiosity and joy about science, and I am often immersed in the beauty of music and poetry. Novels, essays, and love letters to Wang Xiaobo. Novels are Wang Xiaobo's favorite. But I like reading his essays. "If no one writes the facts on paper, there will still be nothing on the paper." Most of his essays criticize the real society and use humorous and sharp writing. We not only see a unique writing style and unique viewpoints, but also a real and sincere Wang Xiaobo. And only after reading his essays will you understand Wang Xiaobo's "fun of thinking".

People really need to look up to the spiritual sky, rather than an animal that only lowers its head to look for food.

Regardless of whether the wind blows from the southeast to the northwest, I stand in the mist and rain from the tower! It is better not to follow blindly, to maintain independent thinking, to build an independent personality, to explore wisdom from books, not to reach the top, but to understand life!

A maverick pig, the "I" and the people in it are no different from the programmed pigs in the team, but "I" is a little better and knows how to appreciate Brother Pig, but in the end he is just a useless good person who only laughs at fifty steps. People today will read this article and lament that the spirit of the meetings during the **** was terrible, and the life of singing model operas was terrible! The days when your thoughts are imprisoned are terrible! But looking at it now, why haven't you been set up, or have you set up someone else? It's just that there are more tricks and richer content, and the euphemistic name is: for your own good. I have never met anyone who is truly maverick like Brother Zhu, but I have seen quite a few people who want to imitate "maverick" and try to imitate others!
