Ruined by the movie.
What does crazy aliens have to do with this! It's a pity for Liu Cixin that a good novel was changed into a vulgar comedy.
clarify something
Let me tell you, Crazy Alien has nothing to do with Village Teacher, but Director Ning Hao came up with the movie Crazy Alien from Village Teacher, and Teacher Liu Cixin said at the beginning that this movie does not need to bear the names of Liu Cixin and Village Teacher, because it has nothing to do with the novel, but Director Ning Hao insisted on hanging the name, not to make money, but to give an explanation to Teacher Liu Cixin and the majority of book friends, so stop criticizing the movie and just watch it as a comedy.
Destroying stars and junior high school physics
The interstellar fleet in the Milky Way and the small classroom in the mountain village of northwest China, the vast starry sky and the tiny dust, form a fateful confrontation that is incomprehensible but inevitable. When the ordinary and bumpy life of a rural teacher is paired with the background of tens of thousands of years of galactic war, it really makes people feel warm, sad, awe-inspiring and tragic when reading it. So you'd better study hard or the sun will be destroyed. (A certain vulgar comedy movie is even remotely related to this book? Dare you say it's an adaptation?)
A short story with great humanistic care
Although it is a science fiction work, the writing does not focus too much on the huge pattern of the universe but instead writes touching stories on this small blue planet. We may be very small compared to the universe and the advanced civilizations that may exist, but the brilliance of human nature also makes us great.
I am very touched and deeply helpless, because of people's numbness and superstition, but there will always be some sober people who stand up and tell them that this is wrong. Even if they are not accepted or hated by others, they will not give up. People are becoming civilized because of them. Just like Mr. Lu Xun reminded people when they were numb.
Dark, oppressive, brilliant
Probably the universe in Liu Cixin's mind is like this: unfair, without light, darkness and ignorance as vast as a flood, but that glimmer of light, like a spark, is so brilliant. The universe is undoubtedly cold, and survival is a luxury, but there are always people who refuse to give up or surrender, so the spark of a spark never goes out.
A science fiction novel with only 20,000 words.
When I searched for Da Liu's book on my browser, I entered a different world "Everyone Knows It". Haha, I reread it today. In this 20,000-word short story from the last century, Da Liu connects a candle in a rural classroom with the game of civilization in the vast universe. I am a person who really doesn't like writing book reviews. I usually just express my own thoughts, and I don't have the writing skills to guide others. Fortunately, this book is really not long and you can read it in a while. If you are interested, you can read it. Happy weekend. I just posted it once and it's still under review. It's very confusing!
The charm of short stories
I have always disliked reading short stories. I felt that the content was too little, not exciting enough, not rich enough, and it was difficult to fully express my thoughts. However, after reading Rural Teacher, it can be said that it is the most perfect short story I have ever read. It is only tens of thousands of words and less than ten chapters. It describes the majestic inheritance of human civilization and makes people feel relaxed and happy. It also expresses many other small points. For example, Liu Da said in The Three-Body Problem that "the development of human civilization to the present is just an accident." The excitement is beyond words!
To be honest, this article by Liu Cixin is very good and has practical significance, but other works by Liu Cixin, Wang Jinkang and others are still slightly inferior and less mature than some foreign writers. Moreover, the development of online science fiction in our country is very poor. There are not many readers on QQ reading, much less than in magazines.
