About This Novel
The light of the star is distant and dim, the huge gaseous planet floats among the twinkling stars, and the majestic halo seems to be within reach. I fixed the mechanical exoskeleton to the shell of the colony. The number of the space colony - YG922 - was outlined in faded paint on the titanium alloy shell under my feet. In the vacuum of space, molten metal flows like syrup, and since there is no oxidation, welding becomes very easy. The antenna bracket damaged by micrometeors stands crookedly on the outer shell covered with cosmic dust, and is fixed by several bolts. As a space technician, it's my job to repair damaged external equipment. My right hand was amputated in an accident, and now the lost limb has been replaced by a mechanical prosthetic limb. Through the data cable connected to the prosthetic limb, I can connect the auxiliary computer of the mechanical exoskeleton with my own neural circuit.
