About This Novel

The Central Plains is divided into four parts of the world, namely Qin, Wei, Yan, and Chen. In the fifth year of the Yuanhe period of the Qin Dynasty, the leader of the country, Qin Yongchang, took the initiative to provoke a war with the Wei State and mobilized most of the city in order to eradicate the highly accomplished defender Qin Changyu of Pingjiang City. He also led the Yan-Chen coalition forces to attack the city until Qin Changyu and his wife were forced to death. On the day of the funeral, Qin Changyu's two sons, Tongze and Qin Huaishan, and his loyal servant Qin Huaishan disappeared as if they had evaporated from the world. Half a year later, Qin Huaishan, whose pseudonym was Meng Pingjiang, appeared in Pingchuan City of Wei State with his two young masters and a baby girl picked up from a mass burial. In the blink of an eye, Qin Tongpao grew up to be a man of seven or eight years, with both civil and military skills, but he had few friends due to his cold personality. Taoist priest Zhang Xuanjue almost died because his brother Tongze pretended to be dead as a joke. Qian Qiuyi, who was disguised as a man, fell in love with his comrade at first sight in the west of the city. His father made a joke by playing matchmaker for him, and unexpectedly brought joy to the reunion of his old comrades. Tongpao was forced to enter into a two-year engagement with Qian Qiu, and then participated in Wei's military conscription. In order to pursue her husband, Qian Qiuyi also disguised herself as a man and enlisted in the army. Life in the military camp was bitter and sweet, and my comrades were highly appreciated by their superiors and made several good friends. After undergoing army selection, investigating assassination cases, suppressing bandits, and rushing to Chaozhou from a distance, Tongpao and others defeated Chen's army and launched an uprising in Chaozhou. As the team grew and developed, Tongpao and others went all the way north to regain the land of Qin and appease the people. At the same time, they went south to expand and annex the ambitious Wei state. In the end, after more than ten years of hard work, Qin Tongpao ascended the throne and became king, reorganized and proclaimed himself emperor.
