About This Novel
Introduction: "Grammar Keepers" tells an urban epic in the near future. After the explosive spread of the law of light, it was tampered with, and the world fell into a crisis of grammatical pollution. Editor Lin Lang was once victimized by inferior tutorials, and instead gained the cursed ability to sense the "sweetness" of pollution. She formed an alliance with Mo Chen, a genius hacker who once created pollution sources, and Granny Hua, who protects ancient purification techniques, to fight against the "Newspeak Group" that attempts to weaponize the law. Their battle extended from subway stations and abandoned libraries to the seed vault under the Arctic ice cap, and they discovered that behind the crisis was the paranoid pursuit of "absolute purity" by Zhao Weiyang, the founder of the Law. In the end, what they face is not an enemy, but the all-devouring primitive "nothingness" to which all grammatical structures will eventually return - the Abyss of Silence. Lin Lang must learn not to fight, but to reach resonance and reconciliation at the expense of his own deconstruction. This is a story about language, responsibility, sacrifice and symbiosis, exploring how life, with its fragile body, leaves short but glorious traces in a universe destined to increase in entropy.
