I stayed up late to read it. I really like Heinrich! Arrogant and venomous, she has a bit of a bad face. On the surface, she dislikes the heroine very much, but behind her back, she silently helps her get rid of all troubles. My impression of Heinrich after reading the entire book is: "Heinrich said impatiently: Get out!" A man who tells others to get out at every turn, hahahahahahahahahaha (You told your wife to get out in the early stage, how brave you are! Every time Rosia meets Heinrich is described: "She turned around and hit the silver button on the chest of the person behind her." There are too many such descriptions in the whole text. As soon as I read it, I knew wow, the tsundere monster is about to appear! The most poignant episode is: Rosia and Heinrich fled on the Soviet battlefield. War is cruel, with flying bullets and gunpowder smoke. People around you die one after another, but you can't change all this, and you can't predict when you will die. Maybe you will be next. In this situation, surviving is simply a gift from God. The winter in the Soviet Union was extremely cold. The two were abandoned by other soldiers, and the only loyal soldier Haider also died unfortunately. When I saw Rosiya dragging the seriously injured Heinrich walking in the snow, I almost shed tears. I didn't read the ending of this book in advance. I was on tenterhooks the whole time, fearing that Rosia and Heinrich would die, but luckily they didn't and they survived. This is my favorite book. It is the most consistent with my view of World War II. I have read it countless times. But what troubles me the most recently is that the pictures on the Internet cannot satisfy my fantasy about Heinrich at all. I have found many old photos of military officers, but they are not the same as the feeling of Heinrich in my mind. Heinrich's influence has always only been an outline in my mind, which is blurry. I can't find him with a cold aura, keeping strangers away, and ice-blue eyes.
It was great to watch, but Werner's death was so heartbreaking. It was such a shame. The other characters were also good and interesting.
