About This Novel

I stood in the dock, surrounded by an electromagnetic fence. Outside the fence, four bailiff robots wearing titanium alloy armor closely monitored my every move. Gray marble pillars surround the solemn courtroom, and the huge holographic image of the judge gives people an invisible sense of oppression. There was no audience, no jury, I was the only one in the huge courtroom. The huge pressure from the surrounding space kept coming towards me, making me feel dizzy. "This court announces," the judge said in a sonorous and powerful voice, "that the defendant Long Yi is found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to death. He will be executed immediately!" A buzzing sound exploded in my mind. Who did I kill? Why was I found guilty? I have absolutely no memory of this.
