When India was colonized by the British, a large-scale riot broke out, and millions of Indians were bloody massacre. During the battle, Colonel Morey and the riot leader Nana Saib each killed each other's relatives, sowing the seeds of hatred. A few years later, Morey and his friends prepared to make a long trip to North India. They set off on a new all-purpose steam train - a "steam house" called a "steel behemoth" and an "artificial elephant" in the book. Along the way, they encountered various dangers in nature and various traps set by Indian soldiers led by Nana Saib, but they relied on the magical function of the "steam room" to avert danger every time. In the end, Nana Sahib and the "Steam House" died together, and Colonel Morey returned in triumph. The plot of this book is full of twists and turns. It contains many science fiction elements and introduces a lot of Indian scenery. It is worth reading. However, the author is limited to his time, and the thoughts of racial discrimination are throughout the book, so readers should make their own judgments.
