This book is a work of reportage. Although all chapters of the work are independent, they are connected by bright and dark lines. The book is written for urban communities. The author focused on interviews with relevant communities in Shapingba District, Chongqing. Starting from the smallest unit "community", the work narrates the in-depth story of Chongqing's urban development over the years of direct administration and reform and opening up, and tells the positive role of community work in building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way, striving to "know the autumn in one leaf". The author conducted interviews in the community. The book uses nearly 30 community workers from different types of communities and people who are enthusiastic about public affairs to tell their own community stories. It adopts the "people-driven" approach and takes more than 10 urban communities in Shapingba District, Chongqing as "observation samples" to comprehensively display the little-known stories of urban communities. It focuses on telling the colorful and positive front-line stories of the people in the communities, revealing the multiple aspects of urban communities.
