About This Novel
The novel tells the story of a wage earner who majored in printing technology and has been wandering in the Pearl River Delta for ten years. He was repeatedly discriminated against and robbed. Unemployment and job hopping became the norm. He was once sincerely in love, but was abandoned by his money-worshipping girlfriend due to poverty, and since then he has been squandering his youth in a romantic society. During the financial crisis, he actually forced out an old friend in need. When middle-aged, there is no way to find a job, the printing industry cannot return, the qualifications for management positions are insufficient, ordinary positions are replaced by young people, and finally they escape back to their hometown alone.
