When reading this book, I felt a kind of magic that brought me into the plot of the story. Feel the love between the male and female protagonists, feel Liao Yihang, the so-called strong backbone of Mr. Liao, feel the Chinese soldiers such as Ye Kaizheng and Xiao Cheng, and the passion of the Chinese soldiers to defend the motherland to the death. I was not in that stormy, turbulent and troubled world. But every time I hear, see, or learn about everything that belonged to that period in class, on TV, or in books, I always feel a sense of respect from the bottom of my heart. Whether it is the soldiers fighting on the front line, the medical staff saving people in the hail of bullets, or the intellectuals who are busy and passionate about saving the country and the people, and the businessmen who invest and contribute behind the scenes. At that time, all people in China united to deal with the outside world. After reading this book, there is always an excitement in my heart that cannot be calmed down for a long time. From this book, I not only experienced the love between the hero and heroine, but also the great love of family and country.

Ye Kaizheng, Liao Xingyi, Xiao Cheng, Liao Yihang, and all the unknown people who worked hard for the rejuvenation of the motherland, all made their own choices in that war-torn era where they could not help themselves. He still did not shrink from the Marco Polo Bridge Incident. A good love means that you are good and I am not bad either. Although they have been separated for four years because of the mistakes of the heroine's father, they miss each other every day! Ye Kaizheng always said that he carried their wedding papers with him. There was more understanding and support between them. It was a pity that Wenxin could no longer wait for Xiao Cheng to buy the cakes that she had queued for an hour. It was a bit sad. It was adapted from a true story. It was a good novel.
Ye Kaizheng Liao Xingyi
Maybe the love story between them is not the best, but the patriotism and the various conflicts between family and country in it are very meaningful and touching.
