When reading this book, I felt a kind of magic that brought me into the plot of the story. Feel the love between the male and female protagonists, feel Liao Yihang, the so-called strong backbone of Mr. Liao, feel the Chinese soldiers such as Ye Kaizheng and Xiao Cheng, and the passion of the Chinese soldiers to defend the motherland to the death. I was not in that stormy, turbulent and troubled world. But every time I hear, see, or learn about everything that belonged to that period in class, on TV, or in books, I always feel a sense of respect from the bottom of my heart. Whether it is the soldiers fighting on the front line, the medical staff saving people in the hail of bullets, or the intellectuals who are busy and passionate about saving the country and the people, and the businessmen who invest and contribute behind the scenes. At that time, all people in China united to deal with the outside world. After reading this book, there is always an excitement in my heart that cannot be calmed down for a long time. From this book, I not only experienced the love between the hero and heroine, but also the great love of family and country.

It's really good because I am a person who is very picky about novels. When I saw the introduction, I was not very impressed. I just thought I would read it first. But after reading a few chapters, I was attracted by the story. The plot is also very good, not flashy, not confusing, and very clear. This is the first novel about the Republic of China that I have read. I highly recommend it. It is great and I support the author.

Even if the world is indifferent, we should believe that justice and hope are everywhere

Ye Kaizheng, Liao Xingyi, Xiao Cheng, Liao Yihang, and all the unknown people who worked hard for the rejuvenation of the motherland, all made their own choices in that war-torn era where they could not help themselves. Either give your own life, or devote yourself to the revolutionary cause. I am very grateful to the author for giving Warlord and Xingyi a rough but beautiful love story in such an era. Living in a peaceful era, even though I don't know the lives of people in that era, I still sincerely hope that their lives are full of hope, even just a little bit; I still sincerely hope that those who died unjustly and tragically can enjoy justice after a hundred years of reincarnation. I can never remember the name "Ye Kaizheng". When I recall the warlord, "Zhao Qingyu" always comes to my mind. Maybe secretly I still don't want their love to be disturbed by worldly affairs. Qingyu, Xingyi, have you seen it? The country you protect is now open to all rivers and is complete and strong.

I don't know why not many people read such a conscientious book. I think the author's concept is very good, and I feel like I am immersed in it. It's just like the author said, in that era of war, nothing can never fail, so there is a little regret in the book. When I wrote that Xiao Cheng's body was found under the bridge, my heart suddenly seemed to have a picture. I felt that I could feel Xiao Si's pain and imagine his regret before his death. This is a book about national justice. I believe that in that war-torn era, many Chinese sons and daughters with the same heart as Ye Kaizheng or Xiao Cheng, and with ardent expectations for the motherland, died on the battlefield. I couldn't calm down for a long time after reading it.

The love between Xingyi and Ye Kaizheng is very real and touching. As a female student during the Republic of China, Xingyi had progressive thoughts, patriotic feelings, and ideals of saving the world. Ye Kaizheng, as a young marshal of the Republic of China, silently held up the sky for China, bravely resisted the enemy, and was not afraid at all. He still did not shrink from the Marco Polo Bridge Incident. A good love means that you are good and I am not bad either. Although they have been separated for four years because of the mistakes of the heroine's father, they miss each other every day! Ye Kaizheng always said that he carried their wedding papers with him. There was more understanding and support between them. It was a pity that Wenxin could no longer wait for Xiao Cheng to buy the cakes that she had queued for an hour. It was a bit sad. It was adapted from a true story. It was a good novel.

Ye Kaizheng Liao Xingyi

Maybe the love story between them is not the best, but the patriotism and the various conflicts between family and country in it are very meaningful and touching. There is a section in the middle that is really sad. It actually made me want to cry after I haven't cried while reading a book or watching TV for a long time. Anyway, I remember it!

When I saw Xiao Cheng's body was found, my nose became sore and I shed tears. Such a taciturn man sacrificed his life for the country without even leaving a word to his beloved girl. It was a responsibility and a great love. I also saw that Xingyi would never think about never having the chance to return to Fairy Lake with her newlywed husband, and even did not dare to look down. The ending was good for them. They reunited in troubled times, leaving them with a trace of tenderness and warmth.

This book is very well written. Love was really harder to keep than hate in that era. The part where the heroine's grandfather commits suicide made me cry. If you do something wrong, you did something wrong. No matter how kind and upright you are, you are carrying many lives because your son is alone. Many people can't wait for their son. Xiao Si can never wait for her brother Xiao's love. Ye Kaizheng can't wait for his brother to be loved and hated by so many people. I can't pay for it. But I am still glad that she came back before he died alone. I know that Japan will surrender in 1945, but they don't know. I know that China will establish the People's Republic of China in 1949, but they don't know. I admire those heroes whose blood has led to today's prosperous world, because they are never the invincible ones in TV dramas who retreat unscathed. Every inch of land under their feet has their mark.
