This book takes Shakespeare criticism in Chinese academic journals as the research object. It interprets the current situation of contemporary Chinese Shakespeare criticism in the multiple contexts of different genres, periods and journals, and the intertextuality of various material cultural materials. It also pays attention to the guiding and constructive role of academic journals as a "cultural power body" in literary criticism.
