This is a true love story. The protagonist of the story, Xiangyi, used her sincere love to save her newlywed husband who was dying of an incurable disease. It focuses on describing the decisiveness and bravery of the production commander in critical moments, praising the optimism and selfless dedication of the older generation of intellectuals in a difficult environment and their care and expectations for young intellectuals.
