About This Novel
The novel "To the Lighthouse" runs through the whole book, describing the life experience of the Ramsay family and several guests before and after the First World War. In this novel with a very simple plot, Woolf uses a stream of consciousness writing technique to faithfully transform human emotional fluctuations into words, and explores how to find oneself and eternity in a chaotic, impermanent, and perishable life.

After reading this book, as a beacon worker, I have an inexplicable feeling that lighthouses, as navigation symbols, are particularly important in the world's oceans. In this book, the lighthouse is the sacred place in the author's heart and spiritual sustenance. However, foreign readings involving biblical artistic beliefs require knowledge points with a certain literary and related foundation in order to produce some kind of emotional resonance.
It can be clearly seen that everyone's consciousness, thoughts and feelings are constantly changing. There is no peddling of values or any praise or criticism of human nature. In my opinion, it is just trying to objectively describe the thoughts and feelings of people in the book. Although these thoughts and feelings are entirely from the author's imagination or her own feelings, they are undoubtedly real. This is probably the greatness of a writer, that is, one person transforms into many different people to interpret a story.
