This collection of novels is composed of 6 novellas, nearly 400 pages thick. These 6 novels try to write about the deepest part of our era from the points that we touch in daily life. Most of them describe the deepest hidden pain from the perspective of women at the bottom, trying to dig out the deepest and most painful place in the human spirit and body, and then infinitely magnify this pain. Lu Xun said that the most poisonous people are idlers. The reason why idlers are vicious does not lie in their humanity, nor in their morality, but in their ignorance. Where there is more ignorance, there is more malice. The more backward a place is, the more prevalent the theory of victim guilt is. Changing this cannot be accomplished overnight, nor can it be accomplished by one person's abilities. The guilty one is the devil, not the lamb Kindness should be based on understanding the truth, and the prerequisite for kindness is inner clarity.
One of the best novels in modern China, bar none
I was amazed after reading the first short story. The author is well-known in pure literary circles, but there are few traces of him online. Good works should not be buried. It is so sad that the rating is only 5.9.
It is a very profound book. Sun Pin describes the ugliness, sorrow, and darkness of this world like a newborn baby sucking poisonous milk powder. I would say if there is no acquired formation. I feel that human beings are inherently evil at first, because the last aspect of human beings is evil.
"I'm sorry for being a human being."
I never tire of reading it, and the flowing emotions seem to wrap me up in one story after another. Sorrow is the briefest consolation.
It hurt so much, but I found the hope in my heart. I just finished reading the first story and cried from the beginning to the end. It hurts to the point of suffocation.
The beginning of human nature

Human nature can only be truly destroyed when a person dies.
I like the author. The book is very nice.
