This work is a special study of some documents unearthed from Dunhuang and Turpan. It involves the history and geography of the northwest frontier, ethnic relations, the history of the Guiyi Army and other fields. Many issues are complexly intertwined. The book consists of thirteen articles. The first three articles are historical and geographical research, involving the important value of Dunbo No. 58 Document, the "Shazhou Dudufu Illustrated Book", the Tang and Tibetan roads, etc.; The fourth and fifth articles are a review of several vows. The study of "Collection of the Governor's Envoys of Hexi" (former name) involves the major changes in the military and political situation in Shazhou and Hexi during the Su Dynasty; Chapters 6 and 7 use Dunhuang Bianwen and a series of letters to analyze the history of the Uighurs and other northwest ethnic groups.
